Women in Enterprise marked International Women’s Day yesterday with a well-attended event hosted at the headquarters of ISOLAS LLP, a longstanding supporter of the initiative. ISOLAS has consistently opened its doors to Women in Enterprise events and continues to support the group’s work to champion gender equality, professional development and the advancement of women in business across Gibraltar.
As a qualified accountant and Finance Director who has spent many years in the insurance industry across various jurisdictions, I have often thought about what it means to “give to gain.”
Know Your Worth
The Women in Enterprise session on Negotiation and Knowing Your Worth was delivered and chaired by Krystle Robba, Registrar at the University of Gibraltar and WIE Board Member, and grounded firmly in lived experience rather than theory. Contributions came from Lianne Garcia, Head of Enterprise Services at Gibtelecom, and Danielle Victor, Senior Associate at ISOLAS LLP, bringing perspectives from tech, enterprise and litigation to the table.
Women in Enterprise, the GFSB’s dedicated network supporting women across Gibraltar’s business community, hosted its latest workshop this week in with the support of ISOLAS LLP. The session, hosted ar ISOLAS HQ, brought members together for a thoughtful and practical discussion on how to manage time, energy and workload pressures in a fast-paced professional environment.
A new series of empowering events for women in Gibraltar’s business community The GFSB’s Women in Enterprise (WIE) group has announced its new calendar of events for 2025–26, offering a bold and practical programme aimed at supporting women across all sectors of Gibraltar’s business community. Delivered in partnership with Isolas LLP, the six-part series includes a mix of professional development workshops and community gatherings, all designed to hold space for women in business and leadership.
WIE+GFSB @ Climate Change Workshop
The GFSB and Women in Enterprise (WIE) took part in HMGoG’s Climate Change Strategy workshop, which brought together stakeholders from across Gibraltar to discuss how the Rock can meet net zero targets. The session highlighted how future climate policy could directly impact how businesses manage costs, resources and compliance in a post-Brexit economy.
Promoting Ourselves Confidently
Tuesday morning saw the GFSB’s Women in Enterprise (WIE) group host another bi-monthly breakfast meeting, this time focusing on the theme “Promoting Ourselves With Confidence.” Held at ISOLAS LLP and chaired by WIE Committee Member MJ Feeke, the session drew a strong and engaged crowd. The panel featured Business Minister Gemma Arias-Vasquez, GP Reena Verdi, Nicole Buckley from PossAbilities, and, for the first time, a male participant; Senior Partner at ISOLAS and former Minister for Finance, Albert Isola CBE.
