The GFSB and Gibtelecom are inviting entries for the 2025 Business Innovation Award, a prize that celebrates first-to-Gibraltar ideas and the people behind them. To inspire this year’s hopefuls, we caught up with last year’s winner, Lili Olivero, founder of Green Wave and the Eco Loyalty Rewards Programme, to talk about the experience and what winning meant for her and her business.

The GFSB and OTWO magazine have teamed up to launch a special Shop Window Competition to mark World Environment Day 2025. This year’s theme is “Beat Plastic Pollution,” and local businesses are invited to show their creative side—and their green credentials—by designing eye-catching, eco-friendly window displays.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or, like me, watch the news through your hands these days), you’ll know about Trump’s new trade tariffs… The United States is set to introduce new trade tariffs tomorrow as part of a wider shake up of its international trade policy. The announcement places Gibraltar in a 10% tariff category, alongside the UK and other British Overseas Territories. The EU -including Spain - faces a steeper 20% tariff.
