Events

At the GFSB, we believe membership should deliver real value. That means more than simply representing businesses around the table. It means creating opportunities to learn, connect and grow. Since September 2025, we've delivered 34 events attended by 1,329 members and guests, with the vast majority offered free of charge as part of GFSB membership. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, grow your network or stay ahead of the issues shaping Gibraltar's business landscape, our events are designed to make doing business that little bit easier.

More than 250 members and guests gathered at a sold-out GFSB Annual Dinner just one month before Treaty implementation. With addresses from Owen Smith and Minister Gemma Arias-Vasquez, and an inspiring keynote from GoHenry co-founder Louise Hill, the evening combined practical insight, entrepreneurial lessons and plenty of conversation about Gibraltar's future.

The Gibtelecom Business Innovation Award is back, and it’s designed to recognise the ideas that are genuinely moving Gibraltar’s business landscape forward. This is not just about new technology. It is about rethinking how you operate, how you serve customers, and how you grow. Whether that’s a smarter process, a new service, or a fresh way of approaching your market, innovation comes in many forms.

We caught up with Troy Charvetto to understand what’s behind Gibraltar's newest awards night - the GibYellow Awards that put the spotlight where it should be, on the businesses the community actually values, and lets the public have their say.

The GFSB's Women In Enterprise group will host its next breakfast event next Tuesday 21st April. It will be expertly delivered by Fiona Young and Sam Grimes who bring together almost 50 years (combined!) of employment law experience — and for once, they’ll be on the same side of the table.

The GFSB Executive Series recently hosted a compelling Leadership Journey session, featuring an unfiltered, peer-to-peer conversation between two distinguished C-Suite executives: Gerry Kelly, Group CEO of Sovereign Trust, and Pete Yeoman, Chair of Vistage Gibraltar. This engaging event attracted business professionals eager for genuine insights into leadership decisions, growth and the complexities of managing today's organisations.

Did you know that the quality of your sleep directly influences your energy levels, brain function, decision-making, and ability to manage stress? Poor sleep habits, such as irregular bedtimes, late-night screen use, or high stress levels, can lead to fatigue, brain fog, reduced productivity, and difficulty concentrating. On the other hand, consistent, restorative sleep improves focus, emotional resilience, and overall wellbeing.

Last week, as part of Sleep Awareness Month, the GFSB hosted its latest Health and Wellbeing session, bringing members together to explore one of the most overlooked drivers of performance: sleep. The workshop, Optimising Sleep for Health and Workplace Performance, offered practical, evidence-based insights into how sleep impacts energy, focus and long-term wellbeing.

We recently hosted our first Cross-Border Business Networking Event, bringing together businesses from Gibraltar and La Línea de la Concepción to explore new opportunities ahead of the treaty’s implementation. Delivered in partnership with World Trade Center Gibraltar and Saccone and Speed, the event created a valuable space for connection, conversation and practical collaboration between the two business communities.

The Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses (GFSB) will host its first Cross-Border Business Networking Event on Tuesday 17 March 2026, bringing together businesses from Gibraltar and neighbouring La Línea de la Concepción. The members-only event is supported by World Trade Center Gibraltar and Saccone & Speed and aims to strengthen commercial relationships as the border environment evolves and the UK–EU Gibraltar Treaty arrangements approach implementation.
