Last month, the GFSB kicked off its brand-new Self-Employed Group—and despite the stormy weather, the turnout made it clear this group is something Gibraltar’s business community really needs. From tutors and tradespeople to therapists and tech freelancers, self-employed members came together for the first time to share what it’s really like running a business on your own.

This week’s Women in Enterprise (WIE) breakfast meeting, kindly hosted and sponsored by ISOLAS, gathered over 30 professionals to explore leadership – what it means, how it’s done, and how we can support each other in doing it well.

The GFSB marked International Women’s Day with a dynamic afternoon of workshops and discussions at ISOLAS LLP, organised by its Women in Enterprise (WIE) Committee. Centred around this year’s global theme, ‘Accelerate Action,’ the event brought together men and women from across Gibraltar’s business community to explore how we can all play a role in closing the gender gap.

This week, Women in Enterprise (WIE) hosted its bi-monthly breakfast at ISOLAS, bringing together local professionals for an open and honest discussion about managing parenthood and maternity leave while working. The event was led by GFSB Board Member Michaela Rees, who ensured it was a safe, welcoming space for everyone to share their thoughts and experiences.

On Thursday 12th December, the GFSB proudly hosted a workplace wellbeing event sponsored by Infinity Group. The session brought together advocates Sean Keating, Christina Marie Giuffre, and David Revagliatte to share actionable insights for creating supportive work environments.
