Key Brexit Briefings

This week, the GFSB participated in two important meetings on key Brexit-related issues.

At a breakfast hosted by the Governor, the Chair, together with other business representatives, met with James Hughes (FCDO) and Harriet Wilkinson (Home Office) to discuss Brexit-related concerns and gain insights into the EU’s upcoming Entry/Exit System (EES) and its potential impact on Gibraltar.

Later in the week, GFSB Board members and attended a briefing at No.6 Convent Place, where the Chief Minister shared updates on the proposed transaction tax and sales tax and listened to views raised by the GFSB.

These sessions reflect the GFSB’s ongoing work to keep members informed and ensure their voices are heard.
