Gibraltar Heads to London

Even if you are not attending, next week could be an important moment for Gibraltar. The HM Government of Gibraltar will host a full programme of events in London, bringing together leaders from finance, insurance, technology and private client sectors. The series builds on the success of Gibraltar Day in London and aims to showcase Gibraltar as a thriving hub for business, innovation and international collaboration.

What’s happening:
Across five days, Gibraltar officials, regulators and industry professionals will join guests from across Europe for high-profile discussions on the future of finance, digital innovation and cross-border trade. The Government has encouraged every local attendee to invite at least two international guests, reinforcing Gibraltar’s outward focus and growing global connections.

The week ahead:

  • Monday 20 October – Gibraltar Financial Services Lunch
    The week begins at Mansion House, where the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, will welcome guests and outline Gibraltar’s strategic priorities for the year ahead. Expect big conversations about regulation, competitiveness and economic growth.
  • Tuesday 21 October – Gibraltar Insurance Breakfast
    Early risers from across the insurance sector will gather at DAC Beachcroft for insights into market trends, regulatory updates and the future of cross-border partnerships.
  • Tuesday 21 October – Gibraltar DLT Event
    The afternoon turns digital, with a deep dive into Gibraltar’s leadership in Distributed Ledger Technology. The session will showcase how Gibraltar continues to shape a secure and progressive regulatory environment for fintech and blockchain businesses.
  • Tuesday 21 October – GIBLDN Business Conference
    A major highlight of the week, this new conference at London’s Oxo Tower will feature live podcast sessions, panel discussions and fireside chats with Gibraltar’s political and business leaders. Topics range from AI and tax matters to lifestyle and relocation. The evening concludes with a keynote address by Minister Gemma Arias-Vasquez and a conversation with the Chief Minister and Attorney General on the UK–EU Treaty and the business opportunities it may present.
  • Wednesday 22 October – Gibraltar Funds Breakfast
    Industry leaders will meet at the Royal Automobile Club to explore developments in Gibraltar’s funds sector, focusing on growth, regulation and investor confidence.
  • Wednesday 22 October – Gibraltar Private Client Lunch
    The week’s closing lunch brings together specialists from private client law, wealth management and tax planning to discuss how Gibraltar continues to attract family offices and global investors.
  • Thursday 23 October – GFIA Supper Club
    The final gathering will offer a relaxed evening for networking among senior financial professionals, rounding off a packed week of engagement and exchange.
