GFSB x Gibraltar Day

GFSB Board Member Seth Galia, alongside Chairperson Owen Smith, represented the GFSB at the Gibraltar Day events in London. The event highlighted Gibraltar’s growing influence in sectors like motor insurance and digital assets. Seth reflected on the value of these gatherings, stating, “These events provide a fantastic opportunity to strengthen ties between Gibraltar and London.”

Gibraltar’s Minister for Business, Gemma Arias-Vasquez mentioned recent challenges, “From dealing with the challenges and, yes, consequences of the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union to a global pandemic, Gibraltar has faced its fair share of challenges. And yet, these very challenges have served to reinforce what is unarguably our greatest strength – the depth and breadth of our relationship with the United Kingdom.”

Seth and Owen also attended a Gibraltar Day event at India House, fostering connections between Gibraltar and India, opening doors for future collaboration. The event included trade panels and an address by Chief Minister Fabian Picardo.
