easyJet has announced a year-round route from Birmingham to Gibraltar starting June 2025. Flights will operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, with fares starting at £26.99. The route adds to easyJet’s existing connections to Gibraltar from Bristol, Gatwick, and Manchester.
Why does this matter?
This expansion strengthens Gibraltar’s connectivity with the UK, catering to both tourists and locals. The Birmingham route returns after years, offering more access for Midlands travellers and boosting Gibraltar’s tourism appeal. Btw did you know that Birmingham is the birthplace of the Balti, a type of curry whose name directly translates to ‘bucket’?
